Track & Trace
Integrated Track & Trace solutions help reliably detect diversions, re-imports, and exchange of merchandise or documents. They optimize supply processes all the way to the satisfied customer.
Schreiner ProSecure uses the following track & trace technologies:
Encoding
Encoding
Serialization or data matrix codes are excellent solutions to ensure unambiguous product identification and traceability. Only unambiguous codes provide the possibility of identifying every single piece and tracing it throughout the complete logistics and process chain.
However, simply imprinted codes do not protect the product against counterfeiting or tampering, as codes can be easily copied and printed onto illegally produced packages and documents.
Therefore, Schreiner ProSecure recommends the combination of overt and covert security features such as holograms, color-shifting inks or taggants.
Especially with regard to the introduction of 2D data matrix codes according to the efpia standard for the pharmaceutical industry and the clepa standard for automotive spare parts, Schreiner ProSecure supports serialization through physical and digital technologies by disclosing any counterfeiting attempt.
A very special encoding is provided by Copy Detection Pattern: In addition to an unambiguous proof of counterfeiting, further optional and customized information can be integrated to secure traceability within the logistics chain. Here you will find more information on this subject.
RFID
RFID
RFID technology offers customers and users significant economic benefits with regard to product and brand protection: RFID transponders fixed to the object or spare part save technical data and thus passively control production processes. Only when the chip has authenticated a part is it accepted by the plant for further processing. To this end, the plant reads the data and subsequently uses it for the automatic calibration of the plant’s system setting exactly to the respective component. What’s more: transponder technology allows for documentation of important information such as maintenance schedules, repair services, or warranty claims, directly on the object. Modern encryption technologies prevent any unauthorized access to confidential data.
Individual requirements call for individual solutions. Therefore, Schreiner ProSecure has developed Safety ((rfid)) Label – a product that is destroyed upon any attempt at tampering or detaching and that can be enhanced with additional overt or covert authenticity features.
Apart from product and brand protection, RFID technology can fulfill the following tasks in an industrial environment:
- Production and process control
- Maintenance and repair recording
- Proof of documentation
- Logistics control and facilitation of inventory
- Proof of guarantee and quality assurance
In collaboration with Schreiner LogiData – the RFID competence center of Schreiner Group – Schreiner ProSecure develops custom-tailored, economic and future-oriented solutions – all from one single source.
KeySecure online authentication
KeySecure online authentication
KeySecure, Schreiner ProSecure’s modular tracing system, enables world-wide product traceability. Every packaging unit is provided with a highly complex security code serving as a distinctive mark – similar to a fingerprint.
The 15-digit alphanumeric code can be checked via Internet or through a call center and thus allows for product authentication at any stage of distribution. The code is imprinted as a clear text number or barcode or integrated into a 2D data matrix. Schreiner ProSecure’s security system encompasses five-level firewall protection, 128-bit encryption, and customized evaluation of authentication via the Internet. When calling up the authentication page, the user can be provided with more marketing information. Thus, KeySecure is not only a key to security but also to a multitude of advertising and customer retention possibilities.
