The FluxSecure system consists of a magnetically encoded, ultra-thin thread and a corresponding sensor/reader. The delicate thread consists of an alloy mixture of metals surrounded by a glass coating. Through the generation of a magnetic field the magnetic properties of the FluxSecure thread can be read using a sensor to verify the product’s authenticity. The magnetic properties can be adjusted by varying the alloy as well as the thickness and length of the FluxSecure thread. In addition, the alloy mixtures can be custom-made and are not reproducible.
